Hallfold is one of the hamlets the line Whitworth Valley. It stretches from Hall Street up the valley butting on to Cockhall Farm and across to New Steps. The area is streeped in history with Hallfold United Reform Church, old barns, farm houses and the infamours Water Street. Next to Hallfold lodge the footpath created cuts right through the old graveyward.
