The areas of Whitworth, Healey and Facit offer a broad and diverse range of nature and wildlife from the high moorland graze and hills, to the lush and wooded Healey Dell, to the ponds, rivers, reservoirs, lodges and streams, to the ancient and tranquil little hamlets that adorn the valley and to the ploughed and cut fields.
