Whitworth Scarecrow Festival now available
The trail map for the first ever Whitworth Scarecrow Festival is now available.
The Festival takes place during the week of Monday 5 – Sunday 11 September; an astonishing 73 entries have been lodged, with entrants ranging from local young people, schools and churches, organisations and businesses. The winners will be announced at the town’s Rushcart celebrations on Sunday 11 September, around 3pm.
Scarecrow Trail maps are now available from the offices of Whitworth Town Council, the Riverside, UBS Building Supplies and Whitworth Post Office. The map can also be downloaded from the Whitworth Town Council website at www.whitworth.gov.uk and from www.whitworthvalley.com
