Councillor David Chorlton and his wife, Gillian, were installed as the new Mayor and Mayoress of Whitworth at the Annual General Meeting of Whitworth Town Council on 20th May 2010.

During his term as Mayor, David is keen to raise as much money for charity as possible through a variety of events and sponsored walks. David has put his money where his mouth is and has completed a number of challenges and events with more pending. David wants everyone in Whitworth and further a field
to get involved.
